Of course, just as you would do with a self storage unit, you are going to want to be sure that you are keeping track of all of the specials that come your way.  If you get a coupon that is going to make your moving situation a lot cheaper, then all the better.  Of course, what you may end up finding, here, is that you are going to save money if you rent your truck and your self storage unit from the same place.  You might also stand to save some money if you purchase your moving supplies from your trucking company.  Always be on the lookout for these combo deals.

And at this point, it should be clear that you are going to want to be sure that you have purchased all of the moving supplies that you are going to need to move safely.  If you are not boxing up your belongings, then you are not going to be able to rest assured that you are keeping them as safe as possible when you are on the road.  Just buy some simple boxes, here, and be sure that you are also buying the tape and packing paper that you are going to need to keep them closed when they are in the back of your truck.  Likewise, be sure that you are buying some cables to keep your larger items secured in place while you are on the road.

At the end of the day, you are going to see that there is not much to keeping your belongings safe when you set out to move.  And the whole moving process is not nearly as bad as people seem to say that it is.  Once you get started on some of your chores, and once you begin to pack up some of your belongings, you are going to see that the difficulty of the entire process is really, really overstated.
